This latest America the Beautiful Quarter Three-Coin Set is the second issued this year, and it’s the 27th overall in the series.

Kisatchie quarters entered circulation on April 14, 2015 and the United States Mint started selling circulating-quality rolls and bags of them on Monday. Quarters in this set are not in circulating quality, but instead, they are specially produced for coin collectors. They include:

  • one uncirculated coin from the U.S. Mint facility in Denver,
  • one uncirculated coin from the U.S. Mint facility in Philadelphia, and
  • one proof coin from the U.S. Mint facility in San Francisco.

Marks of D, P or S on the quarters denote their origin of production, and each mintmark is on the right side of George Washington’s portrait and under the inscription, IN GOD WE TRUST.
