Today, Aug. 19, the United States started selling Harding Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Sets. Available for $9.95, the set honors Warren G. Harding who served as the 29th President of the United States and his wife, Florence.

This unique product holds one uncirculated quality 2014-P Warren G. Harding Presidential $1 Coin and one Florence Harding First Spouse Bronze Medal which is made in likeness of Florence Harding Gold Coins. The dollar and the bronze medal are mounted in a decorative card with portraits of the two along with their signatures.

Warren G. Harding Presidential $1 Coins became available in rolls, bags and boxes on Feb. 6. These products vary in price from $32.95 to $275.95.

All First Spouse Gold Coins are struck at the West Point Mint out of 0.5 ounce 24-karat gold and are available in uncirculated and proof finishes. Currently, the United States Mint is selling Florence Harding First Spouse Gold Coins for $865 in the proof quality and for $845 in the uncirculated quality coin. These prices may vary from week to week as gold moves up or down.

The Mint does not list any household or mintage limits for this product.

In previous years, the United States Mint would offer First Spouse bronze medals individually. That option was discontinued in 2011. Since then, Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Sets have been a primary source for getting the bronze medals of former First Ladies.
