Looking for rare numismatic books at fixed prices? Select titles for sale are now listed in a new catalog from Kolbe & Fanning Numismatic Booksellers.

"Items offered cover the span of numismatic study from the 16th century onwards, with books included on ancient, foreign and U.S. coins and medals," a news release from Kolbe & Fanning states.

Several highlights, according to the company, include:

  • A fine set of Gnecchi’s Medaglioni Romani, containing plates immeasurably superior to those found in the reprint.
  • G.F. Hill’s beautiful catalogue of the Dreyfus Renaissance medals.
  • B. Max Mehl’s own very rare morocco-bound copies of five editions of his Star Rare Coin Encyclopedia.

The fixed priced catalog is available today for download at www.numislit.com. Printed copies are also available at request by contacting contact David Fanning at (614) 414-0855 or by email at df@numislit.com. Regular Kolbe & Fanning clients will receive a printed copy automatically.

"Items listed are available for immediate purchase at the prices indicated," Fanning states. "Orders may be placed by post, email, phone or fax. Email or phone is recommended, as orders are being filled on a first-come, first-served basis."

Collectors attending the 2014 Chicago ANA World’s Fair of Money, held Aug. 5 – 9, are also encouraged to stop by Kolbe & Fanning booths (#1048 and #1049) to browse hundreds of rare books for immediate sale.
