PCGS Expands Coin Grading Services in Europe

PCGS LogoProfessional Coin Grading Service has expanded its services in Europe with the opening of a new, larger submission center in Paris and the creation of the PCGSEurope.com web site (www.PCGSEurope.com) that includes useful coin information in five languages for collectors and dealers as well as easy-to-use coin submission forms.

"We are now accepting coins in Paris directly from members of the PCGS Collectors Club as well as from PCGS Authorized Dealers in the European Union," said Don Willis, President of PCGS, a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT).

"Many collectors and dealers in Europe see the advantages of third-party authentication, grading and certification, and have been quite enthusiastic about PCGS since we opened our first grading office in Paris in 2010,"

The new PCGS European Submission Center is conveniently located in the La Bourse-Richelieu Drouot area of Paris.

"This neighborhood is the main area for the coin market and auction houses in Paris. We are open from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday," explained Muriel Eymery, PCGS Vice President of International Business Development.

Specific information about submitting rare coins and modern coins, the types of certification services offered as well as the fees for them can found online at www.PCGSEurope.com, or you can call the submission center at + 33 1 40 20 09 94 to make an appointment to submit or pick up coins in person.

The new PCGSEurope.com web site has news and rare coins information in English, French, German, Italian and Polish including an extensive PCGS Certified Coins Population Report for many European countries.

There’s also a listing of PCGS Authorized Dealers in the EU, and information about joining the PCGS Collectors Club. PCGS Collectors Club membership benefits include direct coin submission privileges, instant online access to the PCGS Population Report, and members receive a 10 percent discount on purchasing PCGS supplies.
