Goldline and PCGS Honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Pink Ribbon Coin Program

Goldline International, in cooperation with the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), announced today, October 9, 2010, a pink ribbon coin program as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual outreach effort of several different breast cancer organizations that focuses on disease awareness, education and research.

A special label bearing a likeness of a pink ribbon will be sonically sealed by PCGS in the holders of select coins. Goldline International will guarantee a donation to a breast cancer charity regardless of the number of coins sold.

"It is a privilege to raise awareness about breast cancer," said Mark Albarian, President and CEO of Goldline International. "Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in the United States and one of the leading causes of cancer deaths for women. We hope our clients will join us in our fight against this deadly disease."

"This is an important cause," said Scott Carter, Executive Vice President at Goldline. "Goldline is honored to help in the battle against breast cancer."

"PCGS fully supports Goldline International’s efforts to raise the coin collecting community’s awareness of the fight against breast cancer," said PCGS President Don Willis. "If our combined effort helps save the life of even one potential cancer victim, it will be well worth it."

"It’s a great honor to create a program to raise awareness about those who have been affected by breast cancer," added Miles Standish, PCGS Vice-President and Senior Grader. "These PCGS coins will enable the entire numismatic community to help people learn more about efforts to cure breast cancer."

In general, how many tags will PCGS have for special program?
Is it only for ASE or also applied on other slabbed coins?
