Bowers and Merena Auctions to Reopen Direct Buying and Selling Division

Bowers and Merena GalleriesIRVINE, Calif. – Bowers and Merena Auctions, America’s leading rare coin and currency auction house, is reopening its direct buying and selling division under the name Bowers and Merena Rare Coin Galleries.

Bowers and Merena Auctions, a Spectrum Numismatics International company, has acquired sister company North American Certified Trading (NACT) and will now offer expanded direct buying and selling of exceptional quality rare coins.

Bowers and Merena Rare Coin Galleries will offer all of the buying and selling functions of NACT, with the added benefit of the auction services that have made Bowers and Merena an industry leader for 25 years.

The new company will continue to specialize in coins that help diversify clients’ holdings, while offering superior long-term appreciation potential. In addition, Bowers and Merena Rare Coin Galleries will offer precious metals for clients who wish to diversify their holdings with gold, silver and platinum coins.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for NACT clients as well as Bowers and Merena clients to find the very best fit for their buying and selling needs, whether that is through auction or direct sales," said Steve Deeds, president of Bowers and Merena Auctions.

"We are happy to report to NACT clients joining us at Bowers and Merena that they will be working with their same representatives from NACT who have moved to this new company, so the transition should be seamless and comfortable. They can start enjoying the increased benefits of Bowers and Merena Rare Coin Galleries right away."
