Teletrade Hosts Special Friday Online Auction on June 27 with PCGS...
IRVINE, Calif. – Teletrade, America's largest fully automated Internet auction company for certified coins and currency, will host a very special Friday online auction on June 27, 2008, in addition to their regularly scheduled three weekly auctions on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
This is Teletrade Auction 2549 consisting of more than 200 exclusive certified coin lots, and will be live at www.teletrade.com from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. eastern time. Bidding is open now and the complete catalog is viewable on the Teletrade website.

D.C. Quarter Design of Duke Ellington Wins
District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty announced Thursday the winning Washington, D.C. quarter design featuring historical jazz legend, Duke Ellington. The Mayor officially communicated the selection to United States Mint Director Edmund Moy.
On May 23, D.C. residents were given three quarter design concepts and asked to vote for their favorite. Public voting ended Wednesday, June 18. Over the four week voting period, 6,089 District residents cast online, mail or telephone votes. The voting was close across each, but the winning quarter design of Ellington won by 3 percentage points.
