One Hundred Million Pennies Photographed: The Penny Harvest Field

The Common Cents Penny Harvest Field is a spectacular event with approximately one hundred millions pennies gathered by New York City children in 2007. All the pennies are for charities that the children will select.

Toward the end of each year, the pennies are trucked to the Rockefeller Center in New York City and are placed in a specially engineered and constructed "penny lane".

In an absolutely amazing display, view these must see photos taken by people who went to the Penny Harvest Field, took photos and generously made them available. They truly show the size and value, not just in pennies, of this yearly charitable event.

It’s no wonder why we can get our coins from the mint! They are on Back order? No there on a pallet being sold by Chase Bank empolyees.
All we get from the mint is they are on back order. Oh Well so much for next day shipping and subscriptions.
